It was a very weird dream. I am so sorry I did not write everything down as soon as I woke up. In summary : Was in a restaurant with some friends waiting for food that never arrived. We waited and waited, and anytime we made up our minds to leave, the (yep, now I remember, it was a thai restaurant run by three ladies. An old woman and two young girls), the old lady would tell us that the food was on its way that very minute, so we'd sit down again.

I can not tell you how many times this happened...it felt like we were waiting there night after night. Finally, we had enough and decided that no matter what she said, we'd walk out the door. We walked out and just as were were entering the car, the old lady and her two waitresses ran out with bowls of food telling us to stop....I can still see them, the three of them running with the food towards us....somebody wanted us to get out the car, but I was adamant that we should just go.

As the car started, they began to curse us and taunt us with the food...(in their language) saying how good the food was, we should take a sniff, etc...It was all so primitive and uncomfortable. I forced myself to wake up.

Gosh!

  1. All i could deduce through are the dominant abstract concepts the dream portrayed.

1.Restaurant: Waiting to be served. Food is good. You wanted food with your friends. Do you eat thai food normally? If yes, then perhaps your taste in whatever makes you happy is normal. But if you normally don't eat thai food..then perhaps your personality is such that what makes you happy or makes you satisfied is rather eccentric.
    2. The food never came, kept being delayed: False hope in happiness/fulfillment, which in the end didn't turn out to be false, as the happiness arrived, but you had waited too long and lost the urge to even want it.
"Night after Night" weariness, patience running thin. Got fed up, lost hope and gave up.How many friends were they? (*Could somehow be significant in relation to the bowls of food...or not)
3.Car started: Ready to leave, cursed you in a strange language...(*now that's hard to decipher). Perhaps the happiness was false and was a way to ensnare you somehow. Whatever made you happy/ fulfilled (food), if it came earlier you would have accepted it and enjoyed it, but because it was late you got irritable and it lost its appeal or relevance. Perhaps your object of affection in this part is actually a human being that feels anger and revolt towards you for not accepting them.
    4. You forced yourself to wake up: It was highly inconvenient in the dream, you were very irritable and repelled, you probably won't want to face this issue, if it were a real one in your life. You'd supress its effects/ deny its existence violently..(*not bad violence...shudder sorta violence lol)
I don't know how how credible this is.
Just thought to give it a try.
:-)...I come here all the time to read..its fun.
